The last day with a uniform!!

Last day in a uniform!!! Dad leaving for work this morning. He is happy to never have to tie those boots and blouse those pants again!! He has his Depart with Dignity ceremony this afternoon. Tom is the MC so Tom and Leslie will be coming for the event at 2pm and staying for supper and possibly overnight.

Gotta love Dec 14 in Trenton - not even any hard frost on the car this morning!!

Richard, Dad got your card and printed off the message you sent when he first sent out his retirement announcement and will have those read today along with all the other today.

Sylvia's arrived by email this morning as well so we printed that off and it will be read today too!!

I am making brownies for later today and Friday's potluck at work. He gets to go in jeans because he is handing in all his catpat uniforms tomorrow!! Friday will be a short day!!

January 5th for final clearances and he will be done.

He bought himself a large Blue Nose wooden model this past week that he will be making in retirement - probably only after we move - something to look forward to!!
