It has been on Brian's To Do list for a while and due to exuberant toilet cleaning on my part it became necessary to fix one of them or replace it. Replace it was the option he chose so he ordered two new toilets - one for the ensuite and the other for the powder room. They use very little water to flush so it will help with the amount of water we use daily in those two toilets. They have a special coating in the toilet bowl which resists any accumulation on the surface which is good. They require gentle cleaners so I will be setting up a system for providing the correct cleaner in the bathrooms for regular maintenance. They are white - the ones we removed are dove gray which are almost impossible to find anywhere. So Brian will be replacing the gray sinks with white ones as well some time in the future.
He has also been painting the living room ceiling - a little bit at a time which has meant that the room did not have to be cleared of all the furniture and so on. He did it a bit each day to get two coats on all of it and no mess at all. It has taken a couple of weeks but has not stressed his achilles so that is good!! Therese
